30 JULY 2026 — Nearly one year ago, Caelestia Recording Company was founded with a simple goal: to give independent artists a label built on fairness, transparency, and creative freedom.
In the months that followed, that vision became something much larger than we could have imagined. Together with our artists, partners, and listeners, we celebrated the growth of a catalogue that continues to expand with every release.
Today, just days before Caelestia's first anniversary, we are pleased to announce the next step in that journey.
Effective July 30, 2026, Caelestia Recording Company has officially joined XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc. and will continue operating as Caelestia Recording Company, a division of XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc.
This transition represents a change in structure, not in identity. The Caelestia name will continue, our artists will continue releasing music under the label, and our catalogue will remain available worldwide. Existing artist agreements will continue to be honored according to their current terms, while future agreements and renewals will be issued under XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc. to reflect the label's new organizational structure.
As part of the transition, ownership and administration of the Caelestia name, catalogue, trademarks, logos, and associated intellectual property has transferred to XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc., ensuring unified management of the label as it enters its next chapter. CXMO has likewise joined XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc. and will continue overseeing physical media operations under the new ownership.
For me personally, today marks the conclusion of my time as CEO of Caelestia Recording Company.
When the label was founded, I never imagined what could be accomplished in less than a year. We welcomed remarkable artists, released music I'm genuinely proud to have been part of, and built a label whose values were reflected not only in its releases, but in the way it treated the people behind them.
Although I will remain affiliated with Caelestia and continue overseeing CXMO on behalf of XZ1 Recording Ventures Inc., leadership of the label now passes to a new chapter. I look forward to seeing where it goes from here.
To every artist who trusted us with their music, every customer who purchased a release, every listener who pressed play, and everyone who believed in a label that started with little more than an idea, thank you.
On August 1, Caelestia Recording Company turns one year old.
We'll be celebrating that anniversary a little differently than expected, but with the same name, the same catalogue, and the same commitment to the artists who made the label what it is today.
